Briefly about lift pumping

Improper use of transfer pumps, or throwing things that don't belong in the toilet There are many problems that can lead to pump failure, among other things. Solving this problem usually requires the help of a professional, and we are here to help you.

In the past, in order to protect the lifting pumps, a screen, a sedimentation tank and a sand trap were also installed, which entailed significant additional treatment, building requirements, material transport and also an odor effect in hot weather. The current dominant machine type for wastewater lifting is the centrifugal pump. The expansion of the application areas has been contributed by the favorable energy consumption, the established service network, the small space requirement, the simple installation and maintenance, and the long performance interval. The amount of liquid is usually sufficient to avoid overheating, while the lifting pump operates at high power. The risk of failure of the lifting pump increases if the cooling is inadequate at a lower power level, as a result of which the bearings can overheat and seize, which can also lead to the burning out of the lifting pump.
